I thought Tada, Kimi wo Aishiteru is tragic enough but I just watched a movie that completely tore my heart. A Millionaire’s First Love might be one of those typical Korean Movies: typical characters, predictable plot, and tragic ending but getting through that plot is the best part. It hurts so bad that you have to start putting yourself in the situation thinking, “Would I have done the same thing?” Comparing this to Tada, Kimi, it’s even hard to think which one I’ll prefer: To know that I only have very short time left to spend with the one I love, or just wake up the next day and everything is gone but the happy memories.
If you want to watch the movie, it’s available in YouTube- and watch out for those lovely cheesy lines coz’ this movie has tons of it.

I haven’t watched this. But I knew this movie because of the SDTG story. I guess, this is super dramatic

I don’t watch a lot of Korean dramas but I love the movies!!! This one sounds like a “must see” and I’m definitely looking forward to it..hehe. Love the drama~
I love sad movies with tragic endings even though they break my heart, but they always have this beauty in them that I can’t explain.. I love them but at the same time i hate them for making my heart sink haha I might check this one out, i searched for it on youtube and it has English subtitles, great!
oh nooo…. just reading that conversation breaks my heart! my sister’s talking about this movie a long time ago because of SDTG…
Aw! I’ve watched this months ago but I dare not to finished because my sister told its a real tearjerker movie. I was already on the second part of the movie but still far to the end when I can’t controlled my tears anymore, so I decided to stop watching it and just let the bf finished it.
Have you watched the A Moment to Remember? His Last Gift? This two Korean movies are also tearjerker sis, but a pretty good movie – with tragic endings, as well.
BTW, I love the new theme!
I have not seen those sisz. If I will, I might alternate it with a comedy one so my heart won’t sink to the bottom as much..
I haven’t watched a kdrama or korean movie in forever – this one looks cute!
Those movies sound really sad. I would probably cry a bucket of tears. Wouldn’t last a second. ^_^
I love K-movies!! I’ll have to try to see this though! I especially love tragic endings in k-movies, it gives me that heavy feeling (which I really like, yeah it’s weird) it makes me forget about the real world! Haha!
for some reason.. i find the Korean Drama’s tragic endings very fascinating april… i just love the plot and how they deliver the ending… apart from their tragic dramas i love their comedic approach too…
Same with me. Movies that cut straight to my heart usually leave a trace in my memory.
I tend to stay away from korean dramas because they’re either too emotionally heavy or it involves affairs. That’s just base from what I’ve seen so far though – and I haven’t seen a lot.
Regarding the situation, for me I’d rather know. So I know I’ll have to make the best of it and I’ll have fewer regrets.
Most popular K-Movies usually has tragic endings. As for Affairs, I see more of ‘em on Chinese movies.
